Description:

In this workshop, we will discuss the history of the gap between spirituality and mental health, the reason for the persistence of this gap, and ways we can begin to integrate the two. We come with a holistic and multicultural perspective on health and wellbeing, which means spirituality, faith, and/or religion are often part of the equation when considering all aspects of an individual or family's system, presenting concerns, and therapy process. We will invite conversation around how to feel confident navigating these particular nuances in therapy.
