HIPAA and Teletherapy Updates

In efforts to extend accessibility to as many clients possible during the current COVID-19 concerns, the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) will exercise discretion in concern to HIPAA requirements and will not impose penalties on clinicians who work with clients via telehealth in the best of their abilities. This may expand the services clinicians may choose from at this time.
